Camye Thibodaux is a Licensed Addictions Counselor, Licensed Prevention Professional, Co-Occuring Disorders Counselor - Diplomate, Certified Hypnotherapist, and DOT-qualified Substance Abuse Professional. She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Psychological Counseling, and a Bachelors Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences (both from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA.) She is currently under supervision to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. She maintains a private practice in Thibodaux, Louisiana, specializing in the prevention, assessment, and treatment of addictive disorders.
Camye has over 20 years of experience in the field of addiction, She works with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are SAP Assessments, prevention activities, addiction counseling, co-dependency counseling, smoking cessation, and hypnosis. Until recently, Camye served as a Board Member of the Louisiana Addictive Disorders Regulatory Authority. She has presented to state and local audiences on topics related to addiction.
Camye is an interactive, solution-focused counselor. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. Camye has 24 years of personal addiction recovery, and offers compassion and understanding to those she serves.
